Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal permanent residents of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who have reached the legal age of majority in their province/territory of residence (which is eighteen (18) in most provinces, but is nineteen (19) in certain Canadian provinces/territories) as of the date of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of HP Canada Co. (“Sponsor”), teamDigital Promotions, Inc. (“Administrator”), and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, wholesalers, retailers, distributors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies (hereafter collectively, “Released Parties”), and each such individual’s immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win. Void in the Province of Quebec and where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, provincial and local laws apply.
Promotion Period: Contest begins 12:00:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on 7/15/25 and ends 11:59:59 pm ET on 9/30/25 (hereafter, “Promotion Period”).
How to Enter: Visit www.hp.ca/btswithhp and follow the instructions provided to complete and submit the registration form inclusive of answering the provided trivia questions. Only those who correctly answer the questions will receive one (1) entry into the Contest.
All entries must be received by 11:59:59 pm ET on 9/30/25 to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address throughout the Promotion Period. You may only use one (1) email address to enter the Contest. Entries received from any person, email address, or household in excess of the above stated limitation will be void. Your submission of an entry constitutes your consent to participate in this Contest and your consent for Sponsor to obtain, use and transfer your name, address and other information for the purpose of administering this Contest. The use of script, macro or automated devices (or any other devices intended to automate or subvert any aspect of entry) to enter the Contest is prohibited and any entry through such means and any entry that is deemed to be ineligible (at Sponsor’s discretion and in accordance with these Official Rules) will be void. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor, as applicable, and will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant based on the email address submitted, entry will be awarded to the person named on the applicable registration form (regardless of whether that is the name of the authorized account holder of the email address from which said entry form was submitted) provided such individual is eligible according to these Official Rules.
Released Parties are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, garbled, damaged, inaccurate, or undelivered entries; or for telephonic, human or computer failures, problems or errors, defects or delays in any transmission, interruptions in service due to system upgrades, repairs, modifications or other causes, failures or malfunctions of connections, satellite, network, cable, Internet Service Provider (ISP), phones, phone lines or telephone systems, traffic congestion on the internet, technical or mechanical malfunctions, or other malfunctions or errors, whether caused by equipment, programming, human error or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, for any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or other device relating to or resulting from participation in this Contest, or for printing, typographical, human or other errors appearing in these Official Rules or other Contest-related materials. Sponsor and Best Buy reserve the right, in their discretion, to void any entries of entrants and disqualify such entrants whom Sponsor believe have attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Contest and/or who are in violation of these Official Rules.
Winner Selection & Notification: Potential winners will be randomly selected on or about 10/3/25 from among all eligible entries received. Each valid entry will have an equal chance of winning. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by telephone and/or email and may be required to execute and return a Declaration of Eligibility, Liability and (where legal) Publicity Release as well as any other documents required by Sponsor within five (5) days of date of issuance of notification. Potential winners may be required to answer a time-limited skill-testing question without assistance in the time frame requested, in order to be eligible to receive a prize. Noncompliance with any of the foregoing, failure to respond within the designated timeframe, if applicable, failure to answer the skill-testing question correctly, the inability to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period, or any notification being returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner being selected. Winner status is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Released Parties are not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in any potential winner’s email account to receive email messages.
Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: The Grand Prize winner will receive one one (1) HP OmniBook Ultra 14” Laptop (including a three (3) year warrantee), one (1) Smart Tank 7602 printer, one (1) Series 7 Pro 27” Monitor, and select Scuderia Ferrari HP branded merchandise as determined by Sponsor. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) = $5,000 CAD.
Four (4) First Prizes: Each First Prize winner will receive one (1) OmniBook X Flip 14” Laptop, one (1) Smart Tank 7602 Printer, and select Scuderia Ferrari HP branded merchandise as determined by Sponsor. ARV: $2,000 CAD.
Ten (10) Second Prizes: Each Second Prize winner will receive select Scuderia Ferrari HP branded merchandise as determined by Sponsor. ARV: $200 CAD. Limit one (1) prize per person, per household, and per valid email address.
PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of any prize not specified herein as being awarded, including, but not limited to, all federal, provincial/territorial and local taxes, are each winner’s sole responsibility. Prize and prize elements may not be separated or redeemed for cash. No more than the stated prizes will be awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for, and winner will not receive the difference, in any, between the actual value of the prize(s) at the time of award and the stated ARV in these Official Rules or in any Contest-related correspondence or material.
Miscellaneous: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of any prize is permitted except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion and except as otherwise provided herein. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1) Sponsor and its designees may use (unless prohibited by law) entrant’s name, city and state of residence, photograph, any oral or written statements, and/or likeness for advertising, trade and/or any other purposes in any media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further compensation, permission or notification, and 2) Released Parties shall have no liability and entrant will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to entrant or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or any loss of use, loss of production, loss of profits (anticipated or otherwise), loss of markets, economic loss, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage or punitive damages, whether in contract, tort or under any other theory of law or equity, arising from, connected with, or relating to the Contest or the submission of entries to the Contest or participation in the Contest or the Contest prize or by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize (including, but not limited to, and travel or activity related thereto) and regardless of the cause or any negligence by any of the Released Parties or anyone for whom any such Released Party is responsible, and notwithstanding that any such Released Party may have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage being incurred. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, and/or terminate this Contest (or portion thereof) for any reason, including should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest or for any other reason and, in the case of termination, at its discretion, select the winner from all eligible non-suspect entries combined and received prior to the event that required such termination. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek any and all remedies available from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.
No warranty: Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by the Released Parties. Winner acknowledges that the Released Parties and all other businesses affiliated with this Contest and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of the prize being offered, except that each merchandise prize shall be subject to its manufacturer’s standard warranty (if any).
Arbitration: Arbitration: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Contest, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the Canadian Arbitration Association (CAA)and held in Toronto, Ontario; (2) the Arbitration Act, 1991 (Ontario) shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect, special, exemplary or consequential damages, or any other damages, including legal counsel fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., direct costs associated with participating in this Contest), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
Privacy: By participating in the Contest, participant agrees to all of the terms and conditions of the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.hp.com/ca-en/privacy/privacy.html. In the event of any discrepancy between the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall control and govern.
Choice of Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrant consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, provincial and local courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
